NGK BPR7ES spark plug is the service manual specification for 1997 SLT 700 engine, gapp .024 - .028. Genuine NGK spark plugs preferred on these engines.The most you're supposed to have difference is 5% and at 150 that's 7.5 pounds. The reeds aren't the problem. The problem is that Polaris fuel delivery design is crap! There was an update that added a second fuel pump inline between #2 and #1 carbs off the feed line.
