This was our 1st time staying at this location, 2nd time staying on a floating cabin. The air conditioning is located in the back of the cabin. Even with keeping the air conditioning on 24hrs, the air didn't keep the bedroom in the front of the cabin cool at night even with a ceiling fan. Constructed in 1905 to tame the whirlpools along the Tennessee River, legend has it that the dam was cursed by Native Americans. Some say if visitors get too close, they’ll be sucked in.
